Chief Executive Officer
With an MBA from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management from the University of Ottawa, Alexandre Lefebvre has been involved in the construction and renovation industry for many years. Very early in his career, Mr. Lefebvre joined Lefebvre & Benoit, a family business dating back nearly 60 years and a true leader in the distribution of construction materials in Québec, which he became president in 2012.
A seasoned manager known for his passion, leadership and commitment to the community, Alexandre Lefebvre sits on the Board of Directors of the Independent Lumber Dealers Co-operative, a buying group with sales of over $7 billion. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Conseil du patronat du Québec (CPQ) and was honoured as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2017.
Vice President, Corporate Store Operations and PRO Experience
Martin Lecomte started his career as an accountant at Sel Warwick and later joined La Coop fédérée’s network. There, he occupied the positions of Business Analyst, Information Technology Coordinator and Financial Analyst before being named Director of Renovation Centres and Petroleum at La Coop des Bois-Francs. He moved on to Laquerre Ford, where he was Vice-President Operations, Service and Parts, and then General Manager. In 2014, he joined Groupe BMR as Vice-President – Retail.
Vice-President – Information Technology
Jean Lagacé started out his career in 1999 as Network Administrator at the Union des Artistes. In 2004, he joined Ultima Foods where he held a series of positions within the IT department for almost 14 years. Thanks to his analytical approach and sense of leadership, Jean quickly rose within the company, working as a Technical Analyst, Project and Infrastructure Manager, and Systems Manager before being promoted to IT Director. At the same time, Jean taught IT as part of the continuing education program at the Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe between 1998 and 2007. In 2017, he joined Agropur as IT Director following its acquisition of Ultima Foods.
Finally, Jean has been Chairman of the Board of the Centre de la petite enfance (CPE) La Prairie since 2013 and was appointed Vice-President, Information Technology of Groupe BMR in 2018.
Antonio Di Pasquale
Vice President, Supply Chain and Operational Excellence
Antonio Di Pasquale is an accomplished manager with over 20 years of experience in the field of procurement and logistics. He started his career at GCL Group, where he was a senior project manager for seven years. Well known for his leadership skills, business acumen, commitment to excellence and innovative spirit, he then spent a decade at Agropur, where he enjoyed a flourishing career in several strategic management positions including director of warehousing and logistical strategy.
Before joining BMR in 2020, Di Pasquale held the position of supply chain director at Bombardier Recreational Products, where he headed a team of 70 professionals in charge of the company’s global operations. Di Pasquale holds a degree in industrial engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
Vice President, Finance
Throughout his career, Mr. Lavoie has contributed to the growth and business success of numerous companies, including some 17 years at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, where he was Senior Director, Investments, Private Equity, since 2016.
Graduate of HEC Montréal in finance and senior manager in corporate finance, strategy and investment, André Lavoie is a leader with integrity and passion, known as much for his business acumen and rigour as for his leadership and his ability to listen. There is no doubt that he will be a key player in the implementation of BMR Group’s most recent strategic plan, which will serve as the foundation for the continued growth of the company’s activities across Canada.
Vice President, Human Resources
François Grenier holds a graduate degree in Dispute Prevention and Resolution, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Sherbrooke. He has over 20 years of experience in human resources management. Renown for his ability to mobilize, his empathy, and his negotiation skills, François Grenier especially stands out in the context of business transformation, mergers and acquisitions in complex work environments.
Having held the position of Director of Human Resources at La Coop Comax for 7 years as well as that of Senior Director of Labour Relations & OHS at BMR since 2017, François Grenier has a solid knowledge of the BMR network and its industry. He is nominated as Vice President Human Resources in 2021.
